Discover the charm of Poste Lafayette, at the luxurious beach residence of La Maison D’Été, where you and your family can tap into the blissful island life.
One of the most unique parts of the island, on the north east coast of Mauritius, upon the shores of Poste Lafayette beach, La Maison D’Été is a sublime sunshine spot for you and your favourite people to experience all of the wonders this magical destination has up its tropical sleeves. Immersed in the luxury of the resort’s surroundings, depending on the size of your clan, you’ll select between the Deluxe, Superior and Premium rooms, with one lucky pair – or a small family of 4 – electing La Vigie, the exclusive suite on stilts.
Its supremely comfortable interiors are entirely bespoke, designed around an authentic narrative on the local cultures, incorporating the idyllic seaside colours and textures, mirroring the coral reefs that engulf the shoreline. All of the reclining and entertaining spaces offer spectacular views of the ocean and the mountainous landscape that cocoons this stretch of the island. Ensuring those moments spent on your own terrace, in the tranquil living and reading spots or communal lounging areas are as invigorating as they are pacifying. Maximising on Poste Lafayette’s abounding scenic attributes.
La Maison D’Été’s concierge team will have you out on the kayaks, the paddle boards, into the snorkelling gear or onto the hiking trails during your chosen hours of the day. Bike riding routes around the seaside village or visiting market stalls where you’ll source the fresh fish and ingredients that you and the chef will cook-up on the barbecue’s flames. Visits to the resort’s spa for some extra pampering, settled overlooking the ocean. Delicious rum cocktails of your choice around the lounge bars and picnics on the two beautiful wild beaches immediately in front. You’re secluded from the holiday chaos of the rest of the island, so you and your beach tribe will be free to wander along the shoreline, swim amongst the coral reef, the lagoon, or just simply relax beside the swimming pools. Breakfasts are definitely a firm favourite of those that are familiar with La Maison D’Été’s dining services, as you’ll get to enjoy a feasting of a floating brunch (available on request). Nothing sings Club Tropicana quite like midday piña coladas by the pool. You’ll have a delectable array of menus to pick from during your stay. Dining on the sand or on the long, dreamy deck. From lavish seafood platters to a Creole Bouillabaisse. An authentic introduction to the local cuisine.
The ambience of La Maison D’Été is that of a sophisticated, enchanting retreat, where you’ll revel in the romance of the island and relish all of the luxuries that are at your fingertips. It’ll be one of those seaside holidays that will have you talking about it at length, regaling the sights seen and moments shared together, until you return.
