Be totally totally spoilt in the absolutely beautiful remote Makgadikgadi Pan, 16,000 square kilometres of flat, white salt pan as far as the eye can see. The camp is pitched on a low grassland knoll amongst an oasis of dignified desert palms and Kalahari acacia.
Jack’s camp is a traditional East African 1940’s safari style camp. Green roomy canvas tents with en-suite bathrooms indoor and outdoor showers, Persian rugs, cool cotton sheets. A pool pavilion and loungers for lazy days plus adventuring quad bikes to find remote archaeological sites of fossil beds of giant zebra and hippo that litter this landscape.
During the wet season 35,000 to 75,000 wildebeest and zebra migrate into the area followed by the predators lion, cheetah…… as well as hundreds and thousands of flamingos. This landscape is home to the brown hyena and the delightful inquisitive meerkats. Spoil yourself with this phenomenal perfect bush hideaway!
